Porter Protection Programs (PPP)
We the team of Eco-friendly
Trekking rely heavily on local
climbers and porters when we operate hiking, trekking, mountaineering and
expeditions trips in the Himalayas. We take our responsibility to them very
seriously, by providing adequate pay, food, clothing, equipment, training, and
shelter during the trips. So, our member staff are some of the best you will
encounter during your adventure trip with us.
We are also helping their families, and are participating in health projects and building
schools in their villages through our sister concern non profit making social
organization naming Eco-friendly Nepal. We have
plan to provide scholarship funds so that their
children can attend school for education. We request our clients to share deep respect for the local people,
their culture. We support the work of the fine porter-fostering
section of Eco-friendly Nepal throughout the world, and have adopted their codes of ethics. To
