Our team is comprised of leaders in Himalayan adventure travel, ecologists, naturalists, environmentalists and others, all to achieve the combining missions:

Krishna began guiding on Shivapuri in 1989 while still a college student has been a professional mountain guide since 1991 and has personally conducted over 90 major trekking around the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal, including over 25 to the high Himalaya passes. He has become Nepal Government recognized mountaineering guide leaders, specializing in trekking of the Himalayas. During his sixteen-year professional career he has spent over 1400 days of active guiding, and is a Nepal Government Certified Trekking Guide as well as trained as trekking and mountain guide from HMTTC (NATHM at present) in early 1993.

Krishna's guiding experience in the Himalayan Kingdom includes over 26 successful ascents over 4500 meters and 19 ascents of 5500 meters in Nepal. His Himalayan guiding and trekking resume includes trekking on every major trekking routes of Nepal, including Everest, Annapurna and Langtang. Other adventures have included Annapurna Circuit, Dhaulagiri Circuit and more.

In addition to being the founder owner and CEO of Eco-friendly Treks & Expedition, Krishna is President of Eco-friendly Nepal, a non profit making eco-tourism based social organization, past treasurer of Association for Tourism. He edited Tourism Volunteers, published by AFT as Editor-in-Chief. Krishna has also a deep knowledge on Eco-friendly Tourism in the Himalayas due to his keen interest on it and research on Practice of Eco-tourism in Nepal...".

Krishna is a native of Nepal born in early 1971 at Jemrung Dhading one of trekking routes of Nepal, in the lap of Mt. Ganesh Himal between Mt. Annapurna and Mt.Everest near to the Langtang region, and received a Master's degree in Management from Trivuwan University, a Bachelor's degree in Law (Environmental Law), and a Intermediate's degree in Nepali Culture from same University.

As his past accounting knowledge, being a registered auditor and as a student of Chartered Accountancy, he has the brilliant knowledge on cost cutting under Eco-friendly Treks & Expedition's trip operations. 2)  Krishna Lamsal

Manager

Krishna Lamsal comes from a small village in the mountains of Nepal. He has come to Kathmandu from Nepal in 1989. He has been leading treks since four years after accompanying many groups in various positions and keeps himself constantly occupied with perfecting our supplies and material. His profound knowledge of the Himalayas in general and the area around Nepal in particular is a great asset for every trekking group. Together with his cheerful approach and his ability to guess even unspoken wishes his expertise on the mountain makes everybody feel safe and secure.

After his Collage life, he starts to work with Eco-friendly Trekking team as an assistant manager and after his well performance he was promoted as manager from last year (2005). He is the government trained and license Guide for Trekking  by Nepal Government. At the same time, he has First-Aid training by the different association in various training program. He is always very sincere for the quality service. Now he is leading the group for trekking and other program operated by Eco-friendly Trekking. He is very cheerful person and he can simply solve the big problems because of his skill this principal is making everyone happy and be happy on work. He had visited almost all the tourist part of Nepal many part of Nepal as a trekking manager and know about the mountain people and culture and many more. Especially he knows about the ecology and culture and it can be gainful time when getting together with our valuable clients.

3)  Pradeep Raj Dawadi

Accountant

Pradeep Raj Dawadi has been working in this company as an Accountant, a responsible job. This job has been provided to him since July 2004. Before joining to this company, he was accountant in Arbitrage Audit Consultancy, Kathmandu, Nepal and other trekking companies as an accountant and account personnel both in fulltime as well as part time basis. If it wasn't for Pradeep, our accounts would be on bits of paper all over the office! As Pradeep's organization and accounting skills keep us all up to date.

4)  Nima Gombu Sherpa

Expedition and Mountaineering Guide

Nima Gombu Sherpa is now a 14 time Summiteers of Everest! Nima Gombu Sherpa, is not only one of the very best climbers in the world, he is one of the nicest people you would ever meet in the world. He was also a sardir for the British commercial expedition on the North side. In the past he has worked for Rob Hall and George Dijmarescu. He is from Rolwaling areas from Beding village Dolakha District in Solukhumbu. He is currently a expert Himalaya Mountaineering  Guide.

A native of the village of Gaurishankar in the Rolwaling Beding Dolakha region (just west of the Khumbu region) of Nepal, Nima Gombu Sherpa (35 yrs) has served as a Climbing Guide on many Everest expeditions and is part of a truly extraordinary climbing family. Known as much for his compassionate and kind personality as for his incredible physical strength, Nima Gombu adds tremendous emotional, physical, and spiritual value to all his expeditions.

5)  Sane Gurung

Trekking Guide

Sane was born and grew up in the lap of Manaslu Gorkha  district of Nepal. He began his career as trekking porter in 1995 and has done treks to around Everest, Annapurna Circuit, Manaslu Circuit, Langtang Valley and Gosainkund Pass, Kanchenjunga base camp,  Dhaulagiri Circuit, Dolpo trek in Nepal. Sane started working for Eco-friendly Trekking in the spring of 2006 for the first time and since then he has been on 4 Eco-friendly Trekking (1 in Manaslu Circuit, 1 in Everest Base Camp and 2 in Annapurna region) as trekking guide. Sane is married with three children and now lives in Kathmandu.

6)  Pawan Kumar Lamsal

Trekking Guide

Pawan lives in Kathmandu and has been a trekking guide for nine years. He is a senior guide for Annapurna, Everest and Langtang the three major trekking routes of Nepal. His guiding has taken him to Manang, Jomsom, Namche Manaslu, Circuit and to Everest Base Camp in the Lap of Himalayas. He is certified trekking guide from Nepal Government and trained from HMTTC, and he has a Intermediate in Geography and culture of Himalaya. When not guiding, Pawan balances his guiding lifestyle by being the program volunteering for Eco-friendly Nepal, a nonprofit providing eco-tourism programs.

7)  Joti Lamsal

Trekking Guide

Joti has been guiding since 2004, with Mt. Annapurna South Base Camp. Since then, he has climbed and guided classic trekking in Annapurna area, with the summit of Muktinath ( 3802 meters) as his high point. Joti's extensive experience in the Himalayas, combined with his active career guiding on trekking in the Nepal, makes him a super member of our guide team. When not in the hills, he engages on accounting and booking keeping profession inside office.

8)  Bhoj Prasad Ghimire

Guide cum Porter

Bhoj Prasad Ghimire has been trek since 2005, with Ghorepani as the starting point. Since then, he has climbed and guided classical trekking in Nepal.
