Everest Trekking Testimonials Page
I've made it to London and thought I should
write and thank you all for making my trip to Everest Base Camp, Nepal such a wonderful experience.
The Everest trek especially was one of the most memorable times of my life. I
experienced and learnt so much from the amazing people of the Himalayan region.
For those who are still undecided as to which company to choose for your trek,
then look no further. I can highly recommend Eco-friendly Treks & Expedition
as a excellent company to cater for all your trekking needs.
I went trekking during September 2006 by myself and Krishna was very professional in
drawing up a personal trek plan for me. His price was competitive and email
correspondence prior to the trek was outstanding. I had responses to all my
concerns and questions within 24 hours. He was also very flexible to catering
for my requests for changes to the trekking itinerary.
During the trek my guide was Pawan Lamsal. He is really the most honest and
fantastic guide to spend your trek with. His English is very good and he is
extremely helpful and knows the region well. He is young and the thing is, he
actually enjoys trekking and taking clients out to see the Himalayas. This is
important as I meet many other guides who seem to find it boring.
Compared to other bigger companies the price you will get from Eco-friendly
Treks & Expedition will often be about half! Yet, the level of service and
experience you get is equal to if not better. I saw many other bigger companies
during my trek and they are all the same expect for the name and price!
Again, I cannot recommend Eco-friendly Trekking enough. They are really a
wonderful Team run company group of excellent guides and will provided you with
a personalized and professional experience.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for any information you may require.

We thank you for making this marvelous adventure
possible to Everest Base Camp trekking, and look forward to returning someday to
Chola Pass Trekking and
Mera peak Climbing.
Pawan was an excellent guide and assisting
us and
responsible for meals were Narayan and Shyam. We felt well taken care
from the beginning – our health and well being were paramount.
Pawan’s advice on take a
day hike to acclimatize, breathing and conserving strength at altitude was
practical and well taken.
The Sherpas and assistant
guides worked hard setting up
camp, tents with our thermorests were always ready when we came into camp. Hot
water for washing was available morning and afternoon and greatly
appreciated.
Thanks again for everything you did. Everyone agrees it was the best trek ever
and we all want to come back again.
Best regards,

One of our friends said
to us just before we left that this was going to be a “once in a lifetime
experience – unless we go back!” Now, after seeing the spectacular sights
of the Himalaya from Gokyo Ri and Kalapatar and meeting the wonderful Nepalese people
and their culture, it’s fair to
say we are both hooked, and will definitely be back again!
The trekking was generally not too strenuous, until we started getting
above 4,500m (around 15,000ft). By here the altitude began to take its
toll, and the final days trekking, to Everest Base Camp and Kalapatar, proved especially
tough. Whilst this was difficult, and cold, it did help to give a great
sense of achievement when we finally reached our goal.
Big thanks to Eco-friendly Trekking for making our trip so memorable. We went to Nepal anticipating wonderful
scenery (which didn't disappoint), but came home more in love with the
Nepalese people. Our guides had so much knowledge of the Everest area, I
don't think there was a question we asked that they couldn't answer. I've
now made several friends for life, thank you all so much!
An experience of a lifetime? Definitely, but not somewhere you can only
visit once…

On behalf of my
friends and myself I can confirm that we've just had one of the most well
organized and exciting trips in Everest Base Camp and Kalapatar of our lives. The
Eco-friendly Trekking consists of really intelligent people, which meant that being with
Pawan and Arjun was not only being safe in the mountains but also a lot
of pleasant and interesting time while traveling around. They both are
proud of their country, they know everything about its history, current
situation, people, customs etc and time with them was very educational.
Thanks a lot for putting together such a great trip to Eco-friendly
Trekking team.

The wonderful trekking went on a Everest Base
Camp and Chola Pass, Gokyo in the central Himalayan range. We hiked in the
Everest National Park. When we first got there, we met the Eco-friendly
Trekking. Here are their names:
Pawan, Jit, Joti, Narayan, and Arjun. We had Pawan as guide. Pawan was pretty good.
We had stops for lunch every day. We also had hot chocolate, apple cider,
and tea at dinner. In the morning, we had hot chocolate. At night, we told
some funny stories and some ghost stories. They were funny and scary! I had
a blast! It was very, very, very FUN!
